I have been too busy to go online much lately, but today I have had another bout of D from protein powder. I have been trying just half as much to see if that was tolerable and it wasn't. I use rice protein but I was thinking of trying the veggie kind this week. I had D bad on Friday and today and it is followed with a couple days of C. Yuck.

Also since I have had slight problems with heartburn especially from tomato products I have tried putting baking soda in tomato products. It seems to work ok. I also take a pepcid too if needed. A customer at the store the other day was looking for tomato sauce without citric acid in it. We didn't have any so I asked her if she needed it because of heartburn and she said yes. I said I get that from tomato sauce too but someone told me about putting baking soda in the sauce. She just about chewed my head off for saying that. She never gave any reason to not do it but boy did she not like that idea! Any comments on baking soda in tomato sauce or whether the citric acid would make the tomato product worse?
