I don't know what order to put my arguments in and I have had a rough day but here goes. I envision a board where we can discuss going meatless without any interference from the people who want to be offended. I think it should be a place to talk about being meatless and why without worrying about having to argue with the others who aren't. I do envision some political and emotional outpouring. Why can't those who feel this way just go to a veggie forum elsewhere? because it is very difficult to eat IBS safe and vegetarian and we need to keep the tips on how this can be accomplished here. I envision the veggie board being like the living room only just discussion about veggie issues. I don't see a need for a GF or fructose free board. Those things are only diet issues and we can talk all we want about them on the EFI board. Vegetarianism would cross the living room subjects and the EFI subjects into one. When we have discussed vegetarianism on the living room board it ended in big fights. If we had a veggie board it would be obvious from the name that such provocative posts wouldn't be allowed. We would have to have a written warning that they wouldn't be allowed to disrupt the board. I am obviously lacking brain power tonight but anyway that is my argument.
-------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
