He gave an excellent technical overview of diet and IBS however, it lacked practical detailed information usable by patients. It is a great video for IBS suffers to get their health care professionals to watch.

He positioned role of food allergies and intolerances in perspective. He gave a comprehensive review of lactose, fructose and FODMAPs malabsorption and the benefits of experimenting with dietary restriction and elimination. However, the speaker did not seem to clearly understand that lactose, fructose and fructans are FODMAPs or at least he did not convey this clearly to the viewers.

For the general public I believe the amount of technical details was too high. It seemed as if he was addressing a medical conference and not the general public.

There are technical problems with the feed especially if the viewer has a slow connection. Even with a fast connection I had to restart the video three times before I could view it all. This is a disincentive to many viewers.

It is well worth viewing.
