I'll answer both posts here.
There is just something about the powder that is so filling it leads to discomfort. This doesn't mean it is unsafe any more than a big glass of soy milk is. Definitely don't take more than one serving to start. But you were the one that was saying they were bothering you, not me. I don't care if you use it. I take one serving in the morning, half the year. But if I feel it isn't settling well, I'll stop it for a while. It is at your discretion. But it is never good to start eating a lot of something without ever having it before. So if your body can handle one serving, try that. Maybe later you could try two. But if you can't handle one, don't take any.

Now why can't you eat egg whites or egg beaters? That is the best idea because it is a lot of protein and more filling than a shake (I had one yesterday and unfortunately was hungry soon after). If the protein shake bothers you try an almond milk based smoothie with nuts, fruit and silken tofu in it instead of powder, same amount of protein, cheaper and better for you. Then have one for dessert. I like to make a smoothie or ice cream like this: a frozen ripe banana, a big glob of PB, silken tofu (1/2 pack), soy/almond milk and agave syrup or maple syrup. It is dessert but nutritious enough for breakfast. It would have about 25g of protein.
You can find safe turkey jerky, nuts and seeds like pepitas, soy cheese, granola bars, etc as long as they are eaten with SF. I don't know what protein amount you are at now but if you can get 50 at lunch and dinner, 25 at breakfast and easily get 25 more in snacks that is pretty good.
Remember in all this that protein itself naturally takes more work to digest. That doesn't mean it is unsafe but could tax your system and make it lash out at some point, so to speak. there are people that eat so much protein their bodies work so hard to digest it they end up breaking down. It can happen to people on Atkins diet. But you aren't avoiding carbs like them so hopefully your body will have the fuel to digest all the protein. I still recommend increasing gradually to 175. Try setting a timeline of like 2 months to get there so your body gets used to it. How about that?
I hope this answers things.
