Jason, I read you were worried.

They give these all the time, the worst part is the prep for them. Usally they knock you out while they do it.

As far as what they wiull find, no one can answer that for you and worrying about it won't change the outcome for good or bad.

Your age can make a difference.

Sometimes they might find a polyp which can be harmeless.

IF they were to find cancer then that would mean they caught it early and can treat it. Most people who die from bowel cancer it wasn't found early enough.

diverticulosis is also treatable if they were to find that as well.

But again worrying you might have something won't help either way, but getting one is the right thing to do if your doctor wants to check it out.

Try not to stress over this, because again that won't help or change anything they may or maynot find. Its just stress basically of the unknown.

In IBS the colon will be normal.
