My PCP started me at 10mg and I experienced a lot of yawning and a decrease in libido. At 10mg it did nothing for my anxiety so i asked my PCP if i should up it to 20mg however he was hesitant since it would probably make the side effects worse (the decrease in the libido..which i wasn't ok with) so I switched to Effexor. I know a few people that had good experience with celexa though. I would suggest giving it a try for 4 weeks and usually they start you at 10mg for 1-2 weeks...takes a while to get used to. -------------------- IBS-D since 2008, female in her 20s Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
