food allergy testing       01/13/10 09:53 AM Edit Reply Quote Aly Reged: 08/16/04 Posts: 669 Loc: Columbus, Ohio So my doc said it couldn't hurt to go to a food allergist. She said she was pretty neutral to it, but if I was interested she knew one that "wasn't as crazy as most"... So I have an appointment in a few weeks. Has anyone had food allergy testing? I dont' know what to expect. I'm going to call them though b/c my instructions say no zantac or pepcid for 2 weeks before--I wonder if that means no protonix...(which the thought of makes me want to die!) Well, just curious if anyone has been through this. I don't fit the IBS mold well anymore, so I'm wondering if it's some obscure food I cannot figure out on top of the gastroparesis.
