Also usally and I am not 100 percent on this, but a high white blodd cells count shows the body is trying to fight and infection. also the inflammation seen in IBSers is Macroscopic of specific cells, not overt inflammation. You want to make sure the doctor checked out or you talked to him about microscopic colitus for example if you have certain symptoms, it can mimick some ibs symptoms.
