Hi there everyone! I am new to the board but unfortunately not so new to IBS. Heather's book has become my personal bible, and by following the dietary guidelines I have managed to get my IBS pretty well under control. I only find myself having to take the anti-spazmodic my doctor gave me about once a month-as opposed to 2 or 3 times a day before I changed my diet. The only thing that I can't quite seem to conquer is the GAS! My poor husband must feel like he's married to the swamp lady!! I've heard from non-IBS folks who have gas for other reasons that taking charcoal tablets worked miracles. Would this work for IBS, or would it create more problems?
