Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

Hi all - Im jen from warwickshire in the uk - I have ibs for about 7 years and i hvae done Heathers diet before ( bout 5 years ago and followed it for about 2 years) but made the mistake of thinking because i didnt have any symptoms i was cured and could go back to my original life and eating plan - How very wrong am i - and here i am back here to start from the beginning after months of being in pain - i was when i came here first time round more ibs-d right now i tend to have more ibs-c but the odd ocasion i get the old ibs-d that i had before. I fugred the only time i got some sort of life was when i was on this diet so here i am to start from scratch :O) I doubt anyone remembers me as i had to change my name as i couldnt remember my log in - so im jen im 31 - single mum to one and ready to try and control this thing like i did before. I hope to post and give back if i feel i can too and wanted to say hi as i will probably be living on this website for ideas recipes and information to jog my memory - i have dug out the books and am back fighting for my life back xxxx Jen xxxx
