I have been looking for some facts to defend soy; however the article is 3 years old and someone might say that *new* info shows soy is bad for menopause and cancer and all that. When I have a second I am going to research soy. I am no chemist or scientist but I need to be able to explain the difference between soy's estrogen-like properties and real estrogen. I feel that soy cannot be so synonymous with estrogen like people are starting to say now.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
