So this is available at wal mart? How much is it? I am ibs d..I go and go all day long..but not diarreah..it's solid bm's everyday from spencil thin,to long good sized ones,to huge long ones,or just a pile that fills the toilet..sorry. so I hear if you have ibs d that you take the caltrate with vitamin d.. do you think the caltrate 600+(white and pink bottle) or caltrate 600+d plus minerals(purple and white bottle) works the best?

also I tried the calcium calculator..but everyday my diet is diffrent and how can I calculate I eat 1/2 cup of something when I don't even measure? plus who eats 1/2 cup okra? When I do eat salads or vegtables,it's a frozen mix..or some salad mix,and I don't even measure that..what do you think should I stick tot he purple bottle with the added minerals?

also I take fibercon, birth control, align, acacia everyday..would any of those interact?

also this is interesting:

"Caltrate is a Brand name of a calcium supplement and it comes in a purple and white box. Caltrate offers other forms of calcium but this one seems to work the best.

It gets into the intestines and absorbs excess bile (digestive fluid) and water and helps to form a more solid bm.

It helps the cramps a bloating and spasms and is very safe to take. The only side effects some have is a bit of gas or indigestion at first the as your body adjusts to the added calcium this goes away.

Take one with each meal if you are suffering from diarrhea and if this constipates you cut them back. You need to adjust the amount for you and what works. It is worth the effort.

I have been free for these diarrhea attacks for over a year since starting it and it is no cure but it is a control and life is good.

Let me know if I can help you to adjust the amount you need. We have a lot of feed back from many who are being helped and we are more than will to pass it on"
