Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

i did post being a new member but nobody replied !! i am really struggling right now i have no idea what is happening wether its ibs or something else and im scared. last week monday i started having gurgling noises in my tummy and very loose movements in the mornings till about 11 12 - i felt sick and generally like crap - tuesday and wed were the same thursday was a bit better however yesturday i had lunch with my mum and within ten minutes of me eating i was in cramps and on the toilet with diareah and a very sore bottom ( sorry tmi) im too scared to eat anything and the gurgling is still there and the cramping isnt severe but its there all the time - i have been today but not as loose and not alot ( but im not eating so prob why) i am due for surgery ( laparoscopy ) on thursday and now im worried it wont clear up by then or if its not ibs im just so drained and tired i really have had enough now and i have some how got to take my daughter to her swimming lesson later - i am a singl emum and i dont have any help atall so dont have a choice - i dont want to take an imodium type thing as these block me for days and being due in for my op dont think thats a good idea please help x
