pain       04/21/09 01:44 PM Edit Reply Quote dealy Reged: 04/21/09 Posts: 3 Finding this website has given me hope that the intense pains that I've experienced on and off for 25 years may finally be diagnosed. After describing to my naturopathic MD he suggested it could be spastic colon (now called IBS). What seems to have diverted other MDs from a proper diagnosis is that the spasms present in the middle of the left side of my back at about waist level. I've had tests of every organs possible over the years (with some weird diagnoses) and was getting to where I was afraid to eat, as the pain came more frequently and really disabled me. Nothing helped but heavy-duty drugs that made me goofy. Anybody with similar stories--I'd love to hear from you. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
