Thank you. I haven't heard of the GAPS diet, but I do know all about different diets basically calling for eliminiation of complex carbs and have been on and off it, which I'm trying to do again. One of the most effective for me has been Doug Kaufman's books... I was first diagnosed with CFS and Fibro. years ago and told to go on a modified version of that diet. Then, the "old" IBS (diarrhea all the time) started back, so things like bagels and applesauce seemed to help. But, originally, it was recommended: no grains on any type - including corn, wheat, flour...no yeast, nothing with vinegar, no fruits, except citrus, no sugar, no sweeteners - mainly protein, low GI veggies.... It's a tougher diet than any IBS diet. But, maybe I need to get serious and try it again. Thanks for the suggestion.... Blesings! Dorothy
