I forgot a few things....
All natural Ginger Snaps Rice Dream Ice Cream or Soy Ice Cream (I love the Cherry Decadence) All Natural Soy/Rice Crisps Salt and vinegar are sooo good! Snack sized fruit bowls in juice or light syrup if I can't find juice I love Almond Butter, all natural of course, but it sometimes can agravate me. Just have to be careful. I love cantaloupe and watermelon, just have to eat with SF I cook the following very well and make sure to have plenty of SF to go with them: Green beans Black Eye Peas Turnip Greens Cabbage Butter beans Navy Beans Great Northern Beans I don't by dried beans, they're not as good for IBS. Beef Broth and Barley that my mom makes, there's no beef in it just beef broth.
I love fresh fruit, and almost any fresh fruit! Star Fruit, Anise Pomegranate Cherries Jicama Kiwi Clementines Strawberries Mango Apricots (dried) Dried fruit of any kind go to www.peeledsnacks.com there are some great all natural nothing added dried fruits there. Beware of the following (eat in moderation with plenty of SF if you are going to try them) I can tolerate but most can not Sunflower seeds Almonds Cashews Macadamia Nuts Pistachios Boiled Peanuts
I can tolerate most food stuff except red meat, dairy, high fats, fried, caffeine, carbonation, alcohol (in abundance), chocolate (just a little every-once-in-a-while), processed foods, high sodium & spicy seems to hurt every now and then as well, anything artificial I cannot tolerate! So long hard/gummie candies, reese's, snickers, etc. I used to love Crystal Light, but realized that was a big problem for me. The only drinks I drink now are water, herbal tea, white tea (very little caffeine), red tea, and a glass of red wine once in a blue moon (like only when I haven't had attack for 2 months, which is rare)! I have to take the edge off sometimes!
-------------------- IBS-C, Gas, Bloating, HURTING!
I'm married and it's so wonderful!
