Heather lists it under soluble fiber. The nutritional data at NorthWestern University shows an average butternut squash has about 0.7 grams of soluble and 1.0 grams of insoluble fiber. Generally speaking squash and zucchini have a bit more insoluble fiber than soluble fiber. I can eat a small amount but if I eat too much the insoluble fiber causes problems.
