Hi, everyone.
I'm glad I'm not alone in this fight.
In August of 2008 I was treated for MRSA (a staph infection) in my digestive tract, and the good news, I guess, is that I have been tested after lots of Meds that the MRSA is gone from my system, but the problesm I was having did not. I get severe pain in my abdomin and my BM's are few and fare between.
I have had many tests done, CT scan, Chest xray, Upper GI, and Colonoscopy, blood, stool, and urine. My doctor did not know what to do, so I was sent to a GI doctor who said I have IBS, and put me on a no Dairy diet for 2 weeks but that is not helping my pain.
I think I can deal with the Constipation issue, but the pain is unbearable, to the point that I can not hold my 2 very young boys. My wife is concerned that I may never be "normal again" and that fact along scare's me to death, and I'm in denial that something else is still wrong with me. Any tips to help with the pain? Or where I should go from here.
Thank you, scared and upset in Iowa
