I, like you, had an extremely difficult time drinking the barium. It took me so long that the nurse had to go out to the waiting room and tell my husband that I was ok but it would be awhile because I couldn't drink the stuff. I'm not sure about the fiber right afterwards either. I guess I'm really not much help except I understand what you are going through. Sorry! I'm sending you good thoughts for tomorrow.
