As it was explained to me, the antibiotics are generally prescribed to kill bacteria that cause us infections (for example). The antibiotics also kill the good bacteria we need in our bodies that help us properly digest our food. You can try a probiotic (as opposed to an antibiotic) to counter the effect of losing the good bacteria. Acidophilus is the name of one here in the States. Any well-stocked pharmacy should sell them. If you only have three more days worth of antibiotics, it's probably too late for the probiotics to help you, but keep this in mind for the future.
