Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Help for my Husband, Please!!!!

Hello, this is the first time I've ever used something like this to get info. I don't know if this is strictly a dietary issue either... I'm not the one with IBS, my husband is. It took ages to get a diagnosis of IBS and even when he did the docs didn't provide much help except a lot of medicines that made him worse. I found this website a few moths ago and my husband has since tried and religiously used the Tummy Fiber. It's the only thing that has helped him. He still has a last symptom of stomach pain that won't leave. Some days are worse than others but he says it's always there. It seems to cause the rest of his body to get/feel sickly. He won't talk about it because it makes him mad which makes it worse. Nothing seems to make this pain go away, I can't stand seeing him so miserable all the time and he has given up. He has "accepted" the fact that he is going to hurt for the rest of his life. We don't have kids yet and he comments all the time about how he doesn't know how he will be able to be a father when he can't even drive to work some mornings. This disease is killing him mentally and me watching it. Our savings is gone because of all the medical bills and horrible prescriptions. I don't know what to do for him any more. Someone please help!!!
