You've got a double whammy!! It's hard to say how long, because everyone is different, but IBS-D usually takes less time than IBS-C, which is what I have. While the break the cycle diet can help you get started initially, remember that you need PROTEIN while you're pregnant! (I'm currently 21 weeks along). I'm assuming you're not vegetarian (like me), so try to eat lean meats at every meal, or try things like tofu, scrambled eggs, or peanut butter. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are one of my morning staples since I became pregnant! If you can't tolerate a lot of fruits or veggies yet, blend them. I start every day with a fruit smoothie made from rice milk, a banana, and various frozen berries. Try soups or sauces that call for blended vegetables and beans. There's TONS of recipes on this site (there's a link to the Recipe Index at the top of the IBS Recipes message board), so look around!
