Everyone has valid points, however, I think the greatest risk you run is destroying the good flora/bacteria in your gut and setting yourself up for candida to invade your body. I'm a walking example of years of antibiotic usage in the past - due to numerous infections and am paying the price - yeast/candida can invade your entire body and is very hard to prevent or then destroy. I just had to take a round of Keflex, myself, due to the dental surgery, but there was no choice. My jaw is a little to close to my brain for and mouth/gum/tissue infection too easily leads to heart infection, so I felt this warranted the Keflex. But, of course, now I have yeast/thrush.... :-) It's a trade off. But, had I known years ago what I know now, I would have been more cautious.
