Now -- If I were making it -- I can see how I could make it safe -- but I doubt that his version is going to be.... I'm thinking this is one of those things I should eat in advance and skip - but I don't know. This is something traditional that he makes I guess -- and he has invited 3 other families besides ours -- so it's a large gathering. This isn't an intimate event where I can effect change in the recipe. He does know about my IBS - so I can explain that.
