Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

I started taking PB-8 brand Probiotics on Monday evening. I've been taking one capsule every evening before dinner since then. My IBS-D has been much better since starting the probiotics. I haven't had to take any Imodium for three days....that is until today. I've had to go alot this morning. It isn't diarrhea....just frequent. And urgent Is this the probiotics working? Or is this the probiotics doing more harm than good? Should I quit them or continue? Does it get better? I'm worried because tomorrow we have to travel 3 hours away to a family BBQ. Mornings are my absolute worst tummy time of the day...and we have to leave in the morning. I took Imodium this morning to slow the frequency down. Will probably have to do the same tomorrow for our little road trip. Please tell me this gets better with probiotics. I do believe they have helped. I was just on a weeks worth of antibiotics last week....I'm pretty sure what shape I'd be in right now without the probiotics...
