I have been struggling with stomach problems for about 2 years, and it wasn't only until April of this year that I was diagnosed with IBS. In October I went to see a naturopath and I had a food sensitivity test done. She eliminated many foods from my diet, such as dairy, corn, chocolate, alcohol, sugar (pretty much all of the ibs triggers). Ever since I have eliminated these from my diet, food hasn't been so much of a trigger to me anymore, although I do get the odd bout of pain and I also have constant bloating and gas, but otherwise, I usually just experience IBS symptoms from stress. My mom is really pressing me to introduce new foods into my diet because she is worried what will happen when I go back to university next year. I'm really scared because I really don't want to be in the pain I used to be. Does any one have suggestions? Should I introduce back foods? Help!
