I am not looking to use this now as I am just beginning, but somewhere down the road when I am stablized.
One of my favorite things is a tea drink from a local place - it's iced black tea w/ ginger and mango. I told my husband that will be one of the things I miss the most. He found a mango syrup online and ginger tea that has no black tea base.
The syrup is by Monin, and they claim: Monin Organic Syrups are made with organic evaporated cane juice and the finest natural / organic flavors available. Monin Organic Syrups are GMO free, Gluten Free, Kosher, and Vegan. USDA Certified Organic.
I can't find the specific ingredients for the mango online, but one of the other flavors ingredients: Monin Organic Flavor Syrup Raspberry: "INGREDIENTS: ORGANIC EVAPORATED CANE JUICE, WATER, ORGANIC RASPBERRY FALVOR, RED BEET JUICE (COLOR)"
Monin Organic Flavor Syrup Vanilla: "INGREDIENTS: ORGANIC EVAPORATED CANE JUICE, WATER, NATURAL VANILLA FLAVOR, ORGANIC VANILLA EXTRACT
I am sorry for all the questions I have, (but I have gotten some great information from everyone that I am filing away) still learning what I need to stay clear from on labels. And, is there a "cheat sheet" somewhere (I may have missed it on the site or in either book) of ingredients to avoid? I know the big triggers, but the little ones that tend to get missed? Thanks.
