Thai food is my favorite! I have been sick from it at restaurants before but I have learned what works. I like to order fresh spring rolls for an appetizer. These are fat free! and come with a yummy sweet sauce (I made up a dead ringer recipe for it!). Even chicken satay can be safe if you go easy on the peanut sauce. The chicken itself is low in fat. There may be soups and salads that are safe. Mangos and papayas are often involved and give SF. Pad Thai made without eggs and easy on the oil is safe and delicious! As are other noodle dishes. Make sure to order with less oil or it can be basically fried. I have a great recipe for that too. Also the Pad Thai at Noodles and Co is safe. There are various stir fry type dishes that can be eaten with white rice. Especially if you eat all the rice and bring home some of the stirfry like I do. I also take pep caps or Bentyl first and bring a tea bag with me to be sure. Do not order curries out; they are too fatty. You can learn to make curry at home but it is nearly always made too fatty at restaurants. Good luck!
