I always forget that. Not that HFCS is bad but that all grocery store mayos now have it. When I first started out, Hellmans Reduced Fat used sugar - I was really upset when they switched to HFCS.

Well, if the pasta salads won't work, how about Rice Salad? You could make Yoda's Asian Rice Salad. It's yummy and no mayo.

Or there's Melissa's Rice Salad 216 Ways. I haven't tried this but it looks intriguing because it doesn't have mayo or oil in it and you can mix and match the ingredients to use what you like and can tolerate.

Cheese bread is fine with either of these but of course you won't be able to eat any. I'd be more inclined to take French bread and maybe some kind of cheese for people to eat with it if they want. (But I'm not a mother so that means I'm not nearly as nice as someone who is.
