9-year-old son diagnosed with IBS today       03/11/08 01:58 PM Edit Reply Quote maddiejomom Reged: 04/24/07 Posts: 5 Like mommy, like son...he was diagnosed today with IBS. He has stomach pain in the evening when he lies down for bed. Question: is the acacia fiber safe for his age? The instructions indicate "under 12, consult your physician." Of course, his pediatrician knew nothing about acacia fiber and just recommended "any supplement." We're supposed to start a fiber supplement tonight, so please help!
