I was just beginning to think my symptoms were getting much better, then I had to stop by probiotic for awhile and have been experiencing a lot of constipation followed by days of going going and going some more - but it's always very difficult to go. My poo is so sticky it just can't move on out on it's own. My diet consists mostly of: oatmeal, potato, no yolk egg noodles, rice, grilled chicken breast, fishes like salmon, mahi-mahi, tuna, applesauce (2 servings per day), and fresh white bread. I also eat green beans or asparagus occassionaly (maybe once or twice per week). The only things I drink are water and Heather's teas.
I spoke to my GI about this and he said it's probably my diet (I assume it's probably all the starces. He offered to write me an Rx but said it would probably cause D (I declined) he also suggested that I eat beans or legumes (again I declined b/c of gas). Does anyone have any suggestions on any foods that I can add to help with this? I'm on a different probiotic (only day 2) and I did have a BM this morning that wasn't horribly sticky so that may be what I'll have to see that for a week before I'm convinced and would like to have a plan B if it doesn't.
Thanks
