You haven't had that done yet? Don't put it off -- and don't get freaked out by some of these horror stories. Just insist that they knock you out -- COMPLETELY. I had a very pleasant experience; the drugs they gave me were magnificent (wish I knew what they were!); I was out immediately, and when I woke up it was all over and I felt terrific; I sat up and hugged everybody, kissed my GI doc (EW), and floated out of there, arm-in-arm with my hubbie, floated home and laughed all the way.
