Azithromycin eye drops

Hi Everyone and a Happy New Year to you all:

I was doing great with my IBS. I seemed to have it under control with the Natural Calm and watching my diet. I was so excited until I cut the corona of my eye and the eye doctor insisted I take Azithromycin eye drops. Better known as AZA site drops. They are part of the erthromycin family. I kept asking him if it reacted in the same way as oral antibs, as I know I can't go near that with my tummy. He said it's such a small amount it doesn't really affect you.

Well, I'm doubled over in the rib cage, belly, you name it. It's an acute IBS flare. I took the Natural Calm and I'm going, but the pain of gas and inflammation I'm feeling in the ribs area (doesn't burn like an ulcer) is tight and sore and a bit nausea, almost feels like blades are in there cutting me.

I went for a walk today trying to get my mind off it. I did yoga. Nothing is calming this down. I went back on the really careful gentle IBS diet for now.

I wanted to know if anyone else has had experience with the AZA site eye drops? It also has an anti inflam. in it which kills my belly as well so this was a double wammie, and I'm scared it'll never let up.

Thanks for any input.
