eating out woes       12/30/07 05:13 PM Edit Reply Quote Little Minnie Reged: 04/16/04 Posts: 4987 Loc: Minnesota Doesn't it suck that you can't go to a restaurant and open the menu and say 'what am I in the mood for tonight?' and pick whatever you want off the menu. I am pretty used to not being able to do that but it struck me last night how much less fun it is to choose from the one, two or maybe three items that are sort of safe and may not make you sick rather than anything on the menu. I try to get excited when there is one safe thing but really it is not worth eating out at all most of the time! -------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages: "You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
