I have prescriptions for Lomotil and Motofen and donnatel. (yeah I have an arsenal!) I only take as needed. I find when I do, the next day after taking it, I go a lot and sometimes very urgently. For those who do take one of these, do you take it like it says on the bottle? Mine says every 4 to 6 hours I believe. If I took it regularly, would it constipate me or just regulate me? I also follow the guidelines for IBS eating but have a very ACTIVE bowel no matter what I do. I just want to go less.
