We have a candy type at home that according to the label contains butter fat. This I count as dairy. But then at the very end of the label it says "may contain traces of milk". But if butter fat is dairy=milk product I don't get why it would say that the product may contain traces of milk. Is butter fat free from milk proteins et.c.? (I know all dairy is considered a trigger but I would like to know anyway.)
