stool test- gross TMI warning       11/28/07 11:00 AM Edit Reply Quote Little Minnie Reged: 04/16/04 Posts: 4987 Loc: Minnesota I got a stool test kit yesterday and started it today. It was really gross to do it. If you think it is like cleaning the litter box you are wrong! Anyway I caught the end bit of my morning BM and it was awful, very sticky, very loose and lots of undigested food!!! I hadn't known it was that bad until I looked at it. I had huge chunks of carrot and some fiberous bits of something. I definitely have a problem. If anyone is aware of the show "You are what you eat" on BBC with Dr Gillian McKeith, I can imagine what she would say about my 'poo'. It is as bad as anyone with an unhealthy diet on her show and I don't eat like they do. It will be 3 weeks til I get the results and I can't imagine what they will be. -------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages: "You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
