Hi Debby, I gave up red meat over 20 years ago, and I was told that once you give it up your body loses its ability to digest it -- something to do with the acid in it or something? -- at any rate, maybe it's true? I don't miss the red meat except whenever McDonald's flashes a picture of a quarter-pounder with cheese on the TV. Fortunately, a Boca Burger satisfies me. You can find them in any supermarket in the freezer section. Just pile on the soy cheese, "lettuce, pickle, onion on a sesame seed bun!" Try it -- it ain't bad at all! Bev. P.S.: No, I haven't "indulged" in any red meat in over 20 years; I'm too scared.
