I am glad we are here for you to vent. We all need that sometimes. I think you have a lot to think about.. And if this company doesnt respect you the way YOU deserve then maybe it is time to really make some hard core decisions. Don't give in to them and give any type of reason for them to think your resigning. Dont say much except you are taking some time to get your health in order. If you are not comfortable with traveling to see the customer then by the time you get there you will be a mess infront of the client. Perhaps, you really need to think this through. If he really wants to push YOU out. Maybe you ask what HE and the owner are prepared to do since now your compnay is changing the rules and for 8 years you have devoted yourself there. And what can they do to meet you half way? So if they let you go could you live on unemployment for a short time? And to answer your question the Grass is greener on the other decide. I left a company 3 years ago where my sales manager was calling me a "stupid Jewish woman" and I was his #1 sales rep. Never sell yourself short. I wounded up screwing him in the end. My new company respects me and cares about me. And for that I love coming to work now(hence its 7min from my house) and it shows in my high sales!! So its a win! win!! So never sell your self short!!
