what do you guys do to make yourselves feel better physically and mentally after you've messed up - a lot? For me it's not the type of food, but the amount. I haven't touched any junk or processed or dangerous trigger foods for a really long time. There's not even any temptation. i have a serious appreciation for simple food, but i mess up with the quantities, sometimes, in frighteningly enormous ways, ways that would make a normal person sick, and an IBS person, well, me, right now. I'm sure some of you out there can relate in this or other ways. I just wanted to put this out there. I feel sick! and i want today to be over. actually, i want this whole week to be over, and i want to feel like a normal human being! i'm tired of having to stay in and not go out with friends because I had a glass of soy milk and it was too much for me, or because I shouldn't have had that half cup of cranberry juice, or perish the thought, I had 7 instead of 8 cups of tea, and I had to wait days before I could even dream of pooping. Or I had one grain of benefiber too many so I'm gassy for days. Geez. I'm posting this, not to bring you guys down, but to find inspiration from you. Some of you have found what works for you. Some of you are fighting right along with me. I think it's great that we're here for each other. Thanks, guys. I'll quit complaining as soon as I can.
