According to the manufacturer it is gluten free. They say "The only active ingredient in Benefiber® is Wheat Dextrin, a natural soluble fiber that is considered gluten free (contains less than 10 ppm of gluten i.e., "gluten-free")". While the starch is extracted from wheat the dextrin derived from the starch it has none of the usual characteristics of wheat.
