I love the stuff, and I make my own sauce (thanks to my dear friend, Tony Flaccomio), and yes I add sugar to cut the acidity -- but I always get sick, no matter how little I eat of the stuff. I never add meat, and I know better than to use any kind of dairy cheese, so it has to be the acid of the sauce on my tummy? RATS.
