I brew mine exactly like I would regular coffee. I buy the french vanilla kind and make it pretty "strong/bitter" b/c that is how I liked my coffee. I use Coffeemate dairy free creamer (I'm fine with it...but check the ingredients to make sure it doesn't bother you). Trust me...I have tried a few others that have roasted chickory or something like that in them and they tasted bad to me/not like coffee. Don't get me wrong, some people here really like teechino and other substitutes but b/c I hate tea, I can't adjust. I emailed the soyfee rep to request that they make an instant form of the soyfee b/c I only run into a problem when I am out. I did buy a toddy maker which is something that makes the beans into a concentrate that you can bring out with you and add hot water, but it was a little messy to bring in a thermos, etc.. Now I just brew some regularly and take it in my thermos if I know I'm going to a restaurant. I'll take it with me to Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks too if I'm meeting someone and although it is a bit torturous to smell the real thing, I truly am satisfied and feel so much more confident that I'm not going to have to run to the bathroom (especially in the morning). Well, I digress. I hope you like it if you try it. It is a bit expensive (only comes in 10oz bags) but I rationalize that now I am making all my coffee at home whereas before I was spending money per cup at coffeehouses. (Also, I should mention that I had been getting gas from soy products such as their ice cream, luna bars, etc.. so I completely cut them out...but I NEVER got any gas from the soyfee. I'm not sure why but don't rule it out if you are senstive to soy.)
