I'm in New Jersey myself! Although I moved here from Philly a few months ago. South Jersey to be exact.
Not as many delis right here as there were in Philly, but in Cherry Hill we have some good ones.
Have you ever made potato latkes in the oven using what I call the "fry-bake" method? They come out better than the old fat laden way and taste more potatoey too! I got the idea from "Healthy Jewish Cooking" cookbook, which turns the traditional recipes into low fat versions.
Happy Purim, btw! Made hamantaschen yesterday, as low fat as I could.
