Hi all-

I was up all last night with bad cramping and D, the onset of which occurred shortly after I had a glass of soymilk. I had it on an empty tummy. I'm not sure if that makes a difference? Anyway, I have noticed that when I have soymilk in large quantities, it give me crampy D. However, I am very tolerant of tofu and can eat it by the truckload (not literally of course) with the only noticeable result being I get a bit gassy. And if I do get gassy from soy, it tends to stink, which is the only other culprit besides tomatoes and onions that gives me stinky gas.

Can anyone think of a reason why the soymilk gives me problems but other soy products don't? I had Silk soymilk if that helps. I checked the ingredients and they all seem to be safe. Thanks!
