I am confused...       09/18/07 01:48 PM Edit Reply Quote TATYANA Reged: 07/22/07 Posts: 370 Loc: Washington, Seattle So, a new girl joined our team at work. I was so excited when I found out that she's IBS with C. I didn't know about this website then so I had no one to talk to. I told her how happy I was to have met her, invited her to go out to eat for lunch and chat more. This girl hasn't spoken to me since nor did she respond to my emails. She does seem friendly to anyone else but me. Did I overwhelm her? Was I too nice? I was just happy that I could discuss IBS with someone! I don't understand what I did wrong. If I see her in the hall, she says nothing. I was just disappointed. I learned a lesson: just because you share disease with someone, doesn't mean they'd want to talk to you. -------------------- IBS-C since 2006. No signs of IBS now, it's been 4 yrs.
