Many people have been helped with Heather's book/diet and maybe it will help you. However, if you have a fungal issue (chronic yeast infections sure can be a tell tale sign), then you may be wise to question what you eat. I also had a fungal condition. Didn't really know it for sure, doctors could never find anything, but I finally decided to give an antifungal diet a try. People like myself had tried it and gotten better. Voila`....I got so much better within a week. That was the only way I found out I had a fungus problem, by following an antifungal diet. No one told me. Cause/effect. If you are serious about getting well and finding out for sure if you do have a fungal condition, then that is what I would suggest for you. Another tell-tale sign of a fungal condition could also be a love/cravings of breads, pastas, etc. Fungus/yeast loves to eat those.
Anyway, just my thoughts. You would definitely have to give up all yeast foods, sugar and grains for awhile. BTW, have you ever been on a round of antibiotics or birth control pills? Those are some ways fungal overgrowth starts in your body. The foods you are eating(yeast, processed sugar, grains...) are feeding it. That doesn't mean you have to eliminate those foods for the rest of your life...just until you get rid of the fungus, and then eat them again in moderation. I agree that you should also start taking probiotics. Good advice. If you want more info, you can email me directly. Take care...... Kim
