Milk proteins and IBS       08/29/07 10:02 AM Edit Reply Quote Syl Reged: 03/13/05 Posts: 5499 Loc: SK, CANADA Hi Sand - I have seen you make the comment that the problem with milk is proteins. I am not sure there is evidence to suggest that problem lies strictly with proteins. In this message I gave a quote from a paper that says "Milk contains many other substances in addition to lactose, including fats, proteins, sugars, and Igs, which may stimulate the GI tract."
