im reposting my questions here just in case someone with answers has not read my last post yet:

hi, i want to start doing bent-knee situps slowly so i can bend my colon back and forth. since i'm not used to exercising (i just walk regularly) i was wondering if things will hurt at first, then gradually become used to the exercise? i'm afraid to start because i believe my colon will hurt worse and never stop. i have in the past couple of days bent my legs close to my stomach, and that seems to help a bit, but now i'm feeling some fleeting flashes of minor pain below my stomach and near my leg. could that be because the colon has never been exercised?

my lower back used to hurt badly as well, but now it no longer does. i don't know if that's because i started walking again long after i got IBS. i used to barely move at all because i didn't feel well.

i just want to start those situps, because if there is a chance i will stop spasming/jerking/twitching, i need to have some hope and not be afraid.
