I'm sweltering here and I'm not playing tennis!! To help my body stay cool I have a cool wrap around my neck. They sell them at sporting goods stores. They are like a skinny bandana with gel crystals in them. Soak it in water, throw it in the fridge overnight, and it stays cool for about 4 hours. Plus, I live on Gatorade or Powerade.
I don't eat a lot when it is hot either - a half a sandwich, some cucumber, soy yoghurt - anything cold!! And real fruit popsicles!!
